CHERISTAR MINIATURE PINSCHERS presents:

Promising Puppies

The following 2 puppies are sired by CH. Cheristar's Sand Dancer and out of CH. Cheristar's Icing On The Cake and CH. Cheristar's Emmy Award.  They have kept me busy playing, investigating and learning all about their world. They have the right attitude and think it's all about them! They will be shown later in the summer and they can't wait!

With a bit of sibling rivalry going on, Queen's sister, Cheristar's Passion For Fashion also won a 5 pt. major at the Charleston, SC show on Sunday. And their brother, Cheristar's Grand Marshall also won a 3 pt. major then the following weekend picked up another major in Atlanta. This litter is lovely and 3 are well on their way to finishing their championships at a very tender age.

CH. Sanderlin's Sand In My Slippers, aka "Ritzy"  finished her Championship in Hilton Head, SC on March 11, 2007. She went Best Of Breed over 2 Specials (including her sire) and on to win a Group 2 in a very large, competitive Toy Group. She is 11" and weighs 5.3 pounds but she is a bundle of love and energy, with true MinPin spirit and character.

Mrs. June Penta awards "Fire" with another MAJOR win in Winston-Salem, NC, Dec. 2007

Cheristar's Fire In My Desire out of CH. Suncrest Image is Everything and CH. Cheristar's Emmy Award (pictured above with her littermates and winning) has started her show career. Just under 6 months of age, she captured the TOY GROUP I Win at the Clemson KC match. And she just loved it when the crowd roared with applause! They say dogs live up to their name. Fire was named  because she is full of FIRE. And she continues to live up to her name!

And what an exciting trip we had to Biloxi, Mississippi. FIRE earned her first MAJOR win and also 2 single points at just 6 months of age. She is such a flame in the ring and loves to show!!

Fire only needs a few singles to finish her Championship. She captured another major win at the Greater Hickory Shows in Winston-Salem, NC on Dec. 7, 2007. She went WB, BW and BOS under June Penta. Way to go, FIRE!

FLASH! Cheristar's Elegant Ensemble, AKA "Bella" is now CH. Cheristar's Elegant Ensemble. She garnered  4 MAJOR wins along the way and then went on to capture Best Of Breed in Atlanta, Sept. 07 over top ranked Specials. Congratulations BELLA! Way to go girl!
Fire's sister, Bella is living with her new co- owner Achara Wildman in the Jacksonville, Fl area. Cheristar's Elegant Ensemble started her show career in Greenville, SC. She was awarded a 5 point MAJOR and BOS from the 6-9 pup bitch class. And at the Carolina K.C. show, she went up for the same wins for a 3 point MAJOR. Just 2 weeks later in Aug. 07, she was awarded 2 additional  MAJORS in Atlanta. We're very proud of you.

And CH. Cheristar's Sand Dancer, aka Dandy, has been busy with another endeavor. Thus far, he has produced several beautiful litters with additional litters due early 2008.  A pretty boy out of Dandy's first litter, CH. Cheristar's Bells And Whistles has finished  his Championship from the puppy classes as well as CH. Sanderlin's Sand In My Slippers from his second litter. There is yet another pretty boy owned by Tracey Smith, Va  who is currently being shown and MAJOR pointed.  And V. Hogan of MD, CH. Merrywood's Just Plain Jane has produced a lovely litter of 4 babies. And A. Sander's also has another beautiful litter sired by Dandy. How exciting!
Dandy is quite the Showman, loves the ring and everyone he meets!

Sanderlin's Sand In My Slippers or just Ritzy  is sired by CH. Cheristar's Sand Dancer and out of Angie Sander's, CH. Sanderlin's Take A Bow. She is a very pretty mover and has such a beautiful temperament. I took her to Florida for fun and she earned 12 points toward her Championship. She was shown only a handful of times in the 6-9 mos.Puppy Bitch class and won a Best Of Breed over 2 Specials and 2-3 point majors and a 4 point major! Not bad for only 7 months of age. What an accomplishment she has made!!! Her picture moving is at the top of this page.  Way to go, Ritzy!! This lovely girl was bred by Angie Sanders and many thanks to Kim Byrd and her husband for her 'expertise' and lots of lovin' when she was just a newborn!

Best Of Breed over 2 Specials this day in Florida!
